Criniti’s Restaurants: Updates

The Directors of Criniti Group at a meeting held on 18 November 2019 appointed Mr Graeme Beattie, Mr Aaron Lucan and Mr Christopher Darin, partners of Worrells Solvency and Forensic Accountants NSW & ACT, as Administrators of the companies.

First established in Sydney’s Parramatta in 2003, the Criniti Group today comprises 38 companies involved in the operation of 13 venues at locations in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and Brisbane under the Criniti’s Italian restaurants moniker.

Very soon after appointment we made difficult but necessary decision to immediately close 5 of the 13 restaurants: Manly, Wollongong and Kirrawee in Sydney, Chermside in Brisbane and Cannington in Perth.

The original restaurant in Parramatta, the flagship Darling Harbour location and restaurants in Woolloomooloo, Wetherill Park, Castle Hill, Kotara in Newcastle, and the Southbank and Carlton locations in Melbourne remain open and trading.

We appreciate the impact the appointment has on affected parties and will continue to proactively communicate with stakeholders.

We ask that stakeholders please understand that our priorities are to stabilise the operations of the Criniti Group, secure employee entitlements and maximise the return to Criniti Group creditors, so we will not be able to respond to all individual correspondence received from stakeholders. We understand and appreciate the concerns of the stakeholder community and will endeavour to respond to as many of these are possible via this webpage and e-mailing list.

We request that stakeholders make their enquiries by email to crinitis@worrells.net.au

We are working hard to gather and disseminate information to all stakeholders in Criniti’s. At this stage, the following information might be of assistance to you.
