New Worrells partner will raise group’s profile

Worrells Solvency & Forensic Accountants continues to grow with the addition of a new partner, Simon Cathro, formerly a partner of a large accounting firm.

Simon joins 22 other partners, at the specialised insolvency and forensic accountancy practice, which has offices in 20 locations across Australia’s capital cities and regional centres. He joined Chris Darin, Nick Malanos, Aaron Lucan, and Graeme Beattie, at Worrells Sydney on 23 November 2015.

Simon brings with him over 19 years of insolvency and restructuring experience specialising in, insolvency reconstructions, corporate structure design, investigating accountant reports and expert witness investigations.

“I am extremely excited about commencing as a partner at Worrells. Worrells is a national insolvency brand responding to local issues and has been operating for more than 40 years.

Worrells has a great reputation in the insolvency and restructuring market and it was this strong brand combined with its current expansion plans that led me to decide to join Worrells”.

Group Chairman, Ivor Worrell, in welcoming Simon to Worrells said,

“I am delighted that Simon has joined the Sydney partners and I expect that Simon will be a great asset and will complement the skills of the existing partners, further raising Sydney’s profile and that of the Group”.

Worrells is a major contender in the insolvency and forensic investigation market; however, it prides itself on having local offices to respond to local issues. Local partners enable a personalised and transparent service while drawing upon broader resources and technical expertise nationally.

Simon Cathro and fellow NSW partners, Nick Malanos, Chris Darin, Aaron Lucan, and Graeme Beattie are available to meet with professionals seeking advice on financial and solvency issues.
