In many ways the corporate veil is like a wedding veil – it doesn’t hide much, it is flimsy and it is easily damaged. This presentation will:
> Discuss the various ways that directors and shareholders can be personally liable for company debts.
> Provide useful ways to help clients preserve the corporate veil.

Paul Burness

Paul Burness is a member of CAANZt, an Official Liquidator and a Registered Trustee in Bankruptcy. He is also a member of the Australian Restructuring Insolvency & Turnaround Association. Paul has considerable experience in all forms of Corporate and Personal Insolvency and Reconstruction, specialising in insolvency since graduating. Paul is the managing partner of the Victorian firms.
