Graeme Beattie

I am Graeme Beattie and I am the Managing Principal of Worrells NSW and ACT. I have over 20 years experience in corporate insolvency, dealing with businesses of all sizes and I have vast experience in applying diverse solutions to varying business models and structures.

My key point of difference is my local and practical knowledge as a liquidator for some well-known insolvency firms including Moore Stephens, Jirsch Sutherland and Rogers Reidy. I am particularly adept in pre-insolvency consultations, and one of my favourite parts of my job is when I get to talk to advisors and their clients in the early stages of financial difficulty so that I can present a full suite of options on how I can help them. While I am primarily based in our Parramatta office, I do my best work in what staff call my ‘mobile office’ aka my car, traveling across Sydney to talk to clients with businesses in a variety of industries including finance, construction, property development and hospitality.

Outside of work I spend my time with my family, coaching my son’s basketball team as well as stocking, drinking, then restocking my wine cellar.
