About Hayden

Hi, I’m Hayden Asper. I am an insolvency and restructuring expert servicing Newcastle and Sydney. I joined the insolvency and restructuring industry in 2012 after a short career in compliance and tax services. I was initially attracted to the industry as it allowed me to assist people and businesses through some of their worst times.

While not every story in our industry is a happy one, nothing brings me more satisfaction and joy than the successful execution of a turnaround or restructure that sees a business continue and saves jobs and livelihoods.

The first question I ask a prospective client is what their goal is. I aim to provide a prospective client with the options available to them and outline the ramifications so that they may make an informed decision.

I have been involved with CA ANZ for many years, with Young Chartered Accountants and CA ANZ Rural and Regional Advisory Committees in NSW. I'm committed to making a difference both in my local community and across our profession.

I believe people should do good things for the community because this is how we create a more equitable society. You give people a chance, and you help people, and everyone benefits from that.

My corporate experience includes:

  • Liquidations

  • Receiverships

  • Voluntary Administrations

  • Litigation

  • Small Business Restructuring

My personal experience includes:

  • Bankruptcy

  • 66G appointments

Awards:

  • 2022 NSW Young Chartered Accountant of the Year

  • 2022 CAANZ President's Prize recipient

  • Finalist: Accountant's Daily ''30 under 30'' in 2019
