Scott Andersen

Scott joined Worrells in November 2014 and is the Principal based in our Geelong office, servicing the Geelong area, Bellarine Peninsula, Victorian Surf Coast, Warrnambool, Colac, Wodonga, and everywhere in between. You will also find Scott in metro Melbourne, assisting individuals who need to understand their insolvency and restructuring options.

 Scott has specialised in all forms of personal and corporate insolvency administrations since 2006, including four years spent managing complex insolvencies and conducting forensic accounting investigations in offshore financial centres. He has undertaken a significant number of Small Business Restructures and has delivered many positive outcomes to both creditors and companies seeking solutions to financial challenges.

 He is a Registered Liquidator and has a broad range of experience across various industries, including transport, manufacturing, retail, and finance. Scott has completed the Advanced Insolvency Course, is a Chartered Accountant, a member of the Australian Restructuring Insolvency & Turnaround Association, and is also a Certified Financial Crime Specialist.

 Outside of work, you’ll find Scott out and about with his wife and three children—Olive, Alfie, and Essie—or kicking back watching sport on TV. During AFL season, he supports the Geelong Cats.
