About Stephen

Steve leads the Worrells team in ACT and the Illawarra/ South Coast region, managing both our Canberra and Wollongong offices.

He has close to 30 years of both personal and corporate insolvency experience under his belt, and he is able to help clients and their advisors in all areas of insolvency. His professional career has seen him work in Canberra, London and Sydney in firms varying in size from two-partner practices right through to the “big 4’.

Over the course of his career he has worked with countless clients, helping them to navigate the complexities of the insolvency process and finding the best solution for them.

Steve prides himself on his ability to provide fair and equitable treatment to all stakeholders involved in formal and informal insolvency situations while treating individual circumstances with care and concern.

Outside of work he enjoys travelling overseas with his wife and two kids, and he is also a keen follower of the English Premier League and a Liverpool supporter.
