On 17 February 2023, Matthew Kucianski of Worrells was appointed as liquidator of Alice McCall Pty Limited, which trades as alice McCall

Alice McCall is an Australian fashion company that has operated for over a decade with a significant presence in the retail market with several stores in prime locations and online resellers, including mega online retailer, The Iconic. Despite attempts to restructure its debt and reduce its store footprint in 2020, the company was unable to overcome the challenges posed by the pandemic, and ultimately a decision was made to appoint Worrells to oversee its winding up.

Mr Kucianski said, “This is a difficult time for everyone involved, and we will do our utmost to support all stakeholders throughout the liquidation process. Our team is committed to ensuring that the liquidation process is conducted in a professional and transparent manner, and that all parties are kept informed of developments as they arise.”

Its Melbourne, Brisbane, and Sydney stores have now closed. Worrells encourages customers to continue to support the brand through online sale campaigns during this challenging time.

Creditors are urged to lodge any proof of debts at Worrells’ website, www.worrells.net.au, via file information.

Worrells is the leading brand of insolvency and turnaround teams. With local teams in Qld, NSW/ACT, Vic, and WA, Worrells also has the support of a national brand. Its teams have helped people and business recover from difficult financial situations and assisted the creditors attached for over 50 years.
