Worrells Solvency & Forensic Accountants (Worrells) and Ramsay Clout Insolvency and Forensic Accountants (Ramsay Clout) have today announced the merging of their respective firms to form the largest insolvency practice on the Sunshine Coast.
The office will be headed up by Paul Nogueira and John Cunningham and operate from new premises in Maroochydore from April 2012. The Noosa and Maroochydore premises will trade under the Worrells name.
“The merger of the two firms will combine 31 years of local insolvency experience. Both John and I are committed to servicing the Sunshine Coast and Regional Queensland communities and Worrells will be able to provide enhanced insolvency and forensic accounting services given the combined local and national resources of the firm” said Paul Nogueira.
The merger of the two firms on the Sunshine Coast will bring the Worrells practice to 16 partners and over 100 staff nationally.
“In the past we’ve considered other mergers but none of them was the right fit. Worrells’ culture and service innovation is the right direction for Ramsay Clout. In a nutshell it was the right move at the right time with the right people” said John Cunningham.

The transaction will take effect from 1 April 2012.
