RemPak Pty Ltd entered into voluntary administration on 17 January 2019. Aaron Lucan and Graeme Beattie, Partners of Worrells Solvency and Forensic Accountants NSW & ACT, have been appointed as the Administrators. Aaron Lucan and Graeme Beattie were also appointed Voluntary Administrators of Remapak Forwarding Pty Ltd and RemaPak Plastic Pty Ltd.

RemaPak is one of Australia’s leading end-to-end packaging solution providers, having traded since 1974. RemaPak operates from a manufacturing facility located in Seven Hills, Sydney. Senior management within the business have reported to us that rising energy costs have negatively impacted the profitability and viability of the business, which led to the appointment of Voluntary Administrators. At this stage of the appointment, we have been unable to verify these statements.

Worrells Partner, Aaron Lucan stated:

RemaPak will continue to trade as usual through the Voluntary Administration while we explore options for a Deed of Company Arrangement of the sale of the business as a going concern.

We will continue to undertake a financial assessment and expect that we will implement operational changes to facilitate the continued trading of RemaPak during the Administration.
